Bayonetta! Such a buzzword right now. Well thanks to the hype generated by the announcement of Bayonetta 2 for the Wii U, this rather exquisite PVC figurine by Good Smile Company of the sexy witch herself has been brought to my attention.
Standing at around 270mm tall, the figurine is due to be released in March 2013 for a retail price of 13,800Y (Yikes!). Though you can preorder at various hobby sites such as HLJ and HobbySearch , (please use my affiliate link) for 11,000Y or thereabouts.
While looking extremely awesome, there are a few things that are slightly worrying. First of all, what material is the leg made out of? Unless the leg is reinforced by ABS or the like, that pose is just screaming to be warped over time due to weight and heat. Hopefully the final production model will have the fine details such as the gold trims and hair done properly as well.
Considering it’s Good Smile Company, the final retail product should be as good as this prototype.
